The Pocock Rocks Music Festival in Bristol is back in full swing

The town of Bristol got its groove on Saturday as it held the annual Pocock Rocks Music Festival. This is the first time the festival is back in full swing after taking the last few years off due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“We shut down the main street and it’s to support the music and arts in Bristol and the Vermont area,” said Taylor Welch-Plant, an event organizer. The festival consisted of six bands and dozens of vendors, where you could find everything from barbeque to root beer to cotton candy.
“My favorite part is the scouts’ cotton candy and root beer floats. Other than that, the music is amazing,” said Bill Mount, a Bristol resident.
Bristol’s own Cub Scout Pack 543 provided plenty of sweet treats for all and are using any money made to plan a trip for their pack to New Mexico.
“All the money from the fundraiser that we have today goes directly to the scouts’ accounts to help them with their scouting adventure, whether that be camping or any equipment they need,” Mount said.
