Mick Jagger May Leave His $500 Million Music Catalog To Charity

Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger has revealed that he doesn’t plan to leave the band’s music catalog, worth $500 million, to his eight children.  Speaking with The Wall Street Journal, Jagger stated that his children don’t need such a large inheritance to live well. 
“The children don’t need $500 million to live well. Come on,” Jagger told The Wall Street Journal.  Instead, he prefers that the catalog’s proceeds go to charity to “do some good in the world.” Jagger is not alone in his decision, as several other celebrities have expressed similar sentiments. 
Celebrities such as Gordon Ramsay, Bill Gates, Sting and Elton John have also indicated that they won’t leave excessive wealth to their children.
