Furman’s ‘Music By The Lake’ series a gift to the community

As the Music By The Lake concert series winds down, Sue Samuels, alumna and director of Furman Bands, reminds WYFF News 4 viewers there’s still time to catch live music at Furman University’s amphitheater. She spoke to WYFF’s Jane Robelot about the long tradition of free concerts held each Thursday night at 7:30 p.m. at the outdoor venue.

The remaining concerts in “The Sounds of Summer” are:
July 6, 7:30 p.m., Spartanburg Jazz Ensemble
July 13, 7:30 p.m., Lakeside Concert Band
