Local DJ ehances entertainment value at Cruise and Pistons games

When a person loses out on a life-changing opportunity — usually involving their career –, the current generation of young adults will say that person “fumbled the bag.” That almost happened with Stephen Wasson, a resident of Metro Detroit. But thanks to the persistence of a close friend, Wasson — professionally known as Hi Def Stef — now has a dual role as DJ for both the Motor City Cruise and the Detroit Pistons.

In the summer of 2021, the Pistons held their inaugural Detroit-themed talent show. Whether it was a national anthem singer, halftime performer, or a DJ, the Pistons were looking to showcase some of Detroit’s most talented individuals at their home games.
