Ohio Now that the taillights of winter have vanished over the horizon, and with summer waiting in the wings, what better way to begin enjoying the upcoming season’s many delights than a visit to the Middleburg Heights Summer in the City Festival.
“Over 26,000 people from Middleburg Heights and surrounding communities are expected to attend this year’s event,” said Charles Bichara, the city’s director of economic development.
He said this summer’s festival will feature “a huge parade, live music, great food, amusement rides and a spectacular fireworks show.”
Festival times and dates are 5 to 11 pm. June 15 and 16 and noon to 11 p.m. June 17.
The festival will include lots of activities for children, as well as amusement park rides, carnival games, inflatables and more.
Again in 2023, the event will host a Kids FunTime a special area for children featuring face painting, balloon sculpting and a host of other activities.
A wide range of foods is promised, including Philly Steak sandwiches, Italian sausage sandwiches, corn dogs, French fries, hot dogs, burgers, Italian sub sandwiches, funnel cakes, cotton candy, gyros and other traditional summer festival fare.
