Here are the next windows for rain in the SF Bay Area

It’s on its way, forecasters said Wednesday morning. Two areas of low pressure off the coast of the Golden State are expected to send a heavy band of rain to the Bay Area Wednesday afternoon.
“The boundary should arrive sometime this afternoon and continue until the early afternoon with post-frontal rain showers in wake of the system, off and on, into Thursday and Thursday night,” Gass said. 
The heaviest rain that the Bay Area is likely to see associated with this system is expected in the early afternoon Wednesday, Gass said.  If you’ve been carrying around an umbrella, this is the day you’re likely to use it. On Wednesday, San Francisco, San Mateo County, Oakland, coastal Sonoma County and the East Bay hills are expected to pick up 0.50 to 0.75 inch. The Santa Clara Valley and the interior East Bay and North Bay are likely to record about 0.20 to 0.50 inch. South of the Bay Area, the Santa Cruz Mountains could see up to 0.75 inch.
